Yvo de Boer, Chair, said:
"I am honoured to have been appointed as incoming Chair of the Carbon Trust’s Board of Directors. I come to this role with a 40+ year background working on climate action, sustainability and green growth, for and with corporates, non-governmental organisations, the United Nations, governments and knowledge institutions. During this time our collective understanding of the climate challenge has grown enormously and the will to rise to it is evident. That said, times are challenging. For me this means we must think all the more carefully about how best climate action can be positioned to fit the realities, needs and aspirations of the day. I am proud to join an organisation with a long history and strong track record, working with partners to deliver real solutions that meet real needs."
