The Carbon Trust x Amazon event
In an era where greenwashing is under intense scrutiny and regulatory frameworks are becoming increasingly intricate, the need for brands to be transparent about their sustainability claims has never been more critical. Authenticity and clarity in communicating environmental efforts are paramount to building trust and credibility with consumers who are more informed and discerning than ever.
Amazon’s Climate Pledge Friendly (CPF) programme is a sustainable shopping program, which helps its customers navigate and shop for products that have sustainability features. At the Carbon Trust, we are proud to be part of Amazon’s Climate Pledge Friendly programme, helping customers to better understand the carbon impact and reductions of the products they buy through our carbon footprint labelling scheme.
To further explore the crucial role of transparency in building consumer trust, we will be hosting a workshop and Q&A session at our London HQ on 23 June 2025 featuring experts from the Carbon Trust, Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly, and leading brands that effectively use on-pack carbon labels to communicate their carbon credentials to consumers. Discover how these industry leaders navigate sustainability transparency and learn best practices for your own brand.
The session will explore:
- Tapping into a conscious consumer-base through eco-labelling and platforms like Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly
- Cutting through the noise to drive consumer demand for more sustainable products and services
- Avoiding greenhushing and use transparency to build consumer trust
- Delivering impactful and exciting sustainability storytelling in a regulated market
The workshop will be followed by a Q&A session and networking drinks, providing further opportunities to engage with speakers and fellow attendees.
