Associate Director, Carbon Trust Programmes
Paul leads the expansion of our technology and market transformation policy design and implementation activities across the globe. He directs a number of government programmes, including the UK's world leading Energy Technology List, and regional or municipal government low carbon enterprise and economic growth projects in the UK and Asia. He heads up our international market accelerator work with UN Environment's United for Efficiency (U4E) initiative and our technical activities with the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Programme. Paul sits on the Management Team of the Carbon Trust’s Programmes practice. Earlier roles include scaling up the Carbon Trust Loans scheme from £30m to £100m and over a decade in operational or leadership positions at BHP Billiton, BP and Shell. Paul holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, and degree in Applied Geology and Computer Science.
