Chantalle has undertaken large-scale quantitative and qualitative research for the Carbon Trust, carrying out complex data analysis and formulating evidence based recommendations on carbon footprinting, feasibility of district heating networks, energy auditing, and technology intelligence. She also contributes to the management and delivery of large scale energy efficiency programmes which involves working with organisations to understand their needs and subsequently providing energy efficiency and implementation advice.

The SME and Public sector networks are designed to promote carbon reduction and resource efficiency through facilitating the exchange of best practice, case studies, and useful tools.
At university, Chantalle studied Biological Sciences with a focus on environmental change. She therefore has a comprehensive understanding of environmental and sustainability issues, including: climate change, pollution, over-exploitation, and land-use change. She also has specific expertise in the very current global issues surrounding the sustainability of palm oil.
