Chantalle Thomson


Chantalle has a multifaceted role at the Carbon Trust. She is a project manager for two of our flagship programmes: Transforming Energy Access (TEA), DFID’s $65m programme to support early stage testing and scale up of innovative technologies and business models that will accelerate access to affordable, clean energy services for poor households and enterprises, in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa; and the Industrial Energy Efficiency Accelerator (IEEA), BEIS’ £9.2M programme to help strengthen the global competitiveness of British industry through the demonstration of pre-commercial industrial energy efficiency technologies. 

Chantalle studied Biological Sciences at university and has over 5 years’ experience in the low carbon sector. She is also a specialist in SME energy efficiency, socio-economic assessment and techno-economic assessment of district heating projects, and leads on our work in these areas.
