Chris has over a decade of experience in supporting low carbon development in the land use and energy sectors of developing countries. He leads the Carbon Trust's activities in Asia, working closely with the Carbon Trust's Beijing office, and oversees engagement with various international climate funds, including the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and Global Environment Facility (GEF).
Before joining the Carbon Trust in 2015, Chris lived in Jakarta where he helped establish and manage the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI)'s Indonesia programme. Prior to this he directed international parliamentary commissions on global environmental challenges (GLOBE International) and developed a risk analysis tool and rating methodology for emission reduction projects in developing countries (IDEAcarbon).
Chris holds a first class master's degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
