Lucy is an Incorporated Engineer and Project Manager with over 10 years' experience in heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency, with particular specialism in heat networks. She has supported public bodies to deliver low carbon heat networks and energy-efficient retrofit projects, and worked with central government to deliver low carbon programmes in Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. Lucy has a keen interest in buildings' energy performance and is Secretary of the CIBSE Energy Performance Group.

Lucy holds a BSc in Product Design and an MSc in Sustainable Engineering Management for International Development. She was awarded the CIBSE Ken Dale Travel Bursary in 2018 for her international research on 'Demand Management: Photovoltaics, Electric Vehicles and the Strive for Decarbonisation'.
