Angus is currently leading as Programme Manager for the FCDO funded Transforming Energy Access (TEA) programme, £69 million initiative delivering innovative and clean energy access solutions to poor communities in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Angus is also one of the Carbon Trust's marine energy experts having worked in the Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA), Marine Renewable Commercialisation Fund (MRCF), Marine Technical Innovation Needs Assessment (TINA) and helping with the early establishment work on Wave Energy Scotland (WES) for the Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

Prior to working at Carbon Trust, Angus was a researcher at the University of Exeter where he obtained his PhD in Renewable Energy with a focus on economic statistics and systems of innovation. He has a CEng approved first class Hons degree in Renewable Energy as well as over 8 years of industrial engineering experience from his previous career.
