The UK-ASEAN Energy Efficiency Accelerator is an ongoing programme that supports food and beverage companies at different stages of their energy management journey. It helps them to realise the importance of energy efficiency, identify energy savings opportunities, improve energy performance, and take steps to set up new energy management systems or improve existing systems. The programme offers support through:
- Capacity building: Workshops are delivered to representatives from food and beverage companies, training them on pathways to reduce energy consumption and methods to track energy use.
- Tailored assistance: Based on a needs assessment, companies are provided with direct support which includes advice on setting up an energy management system, energy audits to identify energy savings measures and bespoke training workshops.
- Energy Efficiency Networks: Knowledge sharing activities are organised to enable participants to share their learnings, with a view to scaling up energy efficiency efforts across the industry more widely.
Guides, tools and webinars have also been developed to support this programme and are available freely for all food and beverage companies to assist the scaling of up energy efficiency in your business.
