With nearly 10 years of experience in the clean hydrogen sector, Rob has a background in chemical engineering with a master degree and PhD in hydrogen production. Having worked in energy transition consultancy and market research for over 5 years, Rob has developed deep sector knowledge of the decarbonisation of residential heating, the role for hydrogen in decarbonising hard to abate sectors, and the role for clean hydrogen in reaching Net Zero.

Since joining the Carbon Trust Rob has focussed on innovation programmes development and management across both hydrogen and offshore wind as well innovation needs assessments in the UK hydrogen supply chain.
