Calling for entries from companies and consortia interested to undertake a study to produce a framework to gather evidence required to estimate expected lifetimes for offshore wind subsea cables in operation.
The main objectives of this work are to confirm whether current designs of offshore wind inter-array and export cables and relevant accessories are suitable for extended operational lifetimes, and to understand the real expected lifetime of operational offshore wind subsea cable systems, based on a probability of failure.
The deadline for clarification questions has passed.
