EU regulations: The new horizon for environmental labelling

Consumer demand for clear, credible environmental information remains high, scrutiny is intensifying and regulations are set to tighten - making 2026 a landmark year for environmental claims and labels.

Recent research shows that products with clearly communicated environmental credentials can positively influence consumer perceptions, impact purchase decisions, and lead to growth in sales.

At the same time, the upcoming Directive on Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition (ECGT Directive), being transposed to EU member state laws by 27 March 2026, and being enforced from 27 September 2026, will change how companies in the EU can communicate green claims and set new standards that environmental labels must meet in order to comply and continue to operate.

This webinar explores the  new horizon for environmental labelling and what organisations need to consider now in order to stay ahead.
