Call for entries from companies and consortia interested to examine the potential for standardisation of charging connection within the OSW sector.
The main objectives of this work are to:
- Assess the market for potential universal connectors with the potential to be utilised for offshore wind (OSW) and gain learnings from parallel industry sectors (such as automotive, ferries).
- Propose a standard for universal charging interface for battery electric CTV’s to ensure a common standard for future development of offshore charging.
- Promote Uptake of a universal offshore charging connector to the wider OSW and maritime and support development of any future applicable ISO standards.
