Tina is an analyst in the Carbon Trust's Beijing office, working as an energy policy expert to engage with various global projects in energy efficiency, energy conservation and renewable energy. Tina has been the research lead for the SEforAll Industrial Energy Efficiency Accelerator in China, to build a comprehensive profile of the energy efficiency in China’s industrial sector. Tina also has worked on green economy projects, where she provided technical support on promoting environmental performance and financial mechanisms for circular retrofit projects in Chinese industrial parks.
Prior to joining the Carbon Trust, Tina worked with the C40 Climate Leadership Group as city advisor for Shenzhen. In this role, Tina worked on several sustainable development case studies and reports, including: Shenzhen’s private low-emission vehicle incentive plan; Shenzhen’s electric vehicle (EV) battery recycling roadmap; and the policy causal-chain analysis for five individual GHG emission reduction projects in Shenzhen. Tina also worked with the Green and Low-Carbon Development Foundation where she supported the Shenzhen project management office on a Global Environment Facility-funded pilot project for sustainable cities.
