Poppy Potter

Associate Director

Poppy leads the Carbon Trust team in Wales. She is Head of the Welsh Government Energy Service, a flagship programme supporting the public sector and community groups to develop and invest in estate-wide energy efficiency, renewable energy and low emission vehicles. She leads the Service’s work on cross-sector energy strategy for Wales’ four economic Growth Deal regions.

Poppy has worked in the sustainability sector since 2008, with expertise in programme management, energy efficiency, housing retrofit, traditional buildings and climate change adaptation. She has been a non-executive director of the National Communities Resource Centre, home of the Housing Plus Academy, since 2013.

Poppy holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a first class master’s degree in Environmental Management.
