Hazim is an Associate for South East Asia and is based in the Carbon Trust Singapore office. He supports the delivery of the UK Government’s ASEAN Low Carbon Energy Programme and other activities across the region.
Prior to joining Carbon Trust, Hazim spent approximately a year in Bangkok where he consulted for the UNFCCC and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies on climate finance, green financial inclusion and regional carbon markets.
Hazim holds a Master's in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po's Paris School of International Affairs and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours – Distinction) in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Hazim speaks Malay, Indonesian and French.
