Case Study: Zero Carbon Office for Natural Design & Build

Existing Technology: This project was completely new build, and as such there was no equipment being replaced.

New Technology: Natural Design & Build was tasked with main construction on a zero carbon office building for their architect clients. NDB approached Solarsense to provide much of the renewable energy technologies for the project, specifically the solar PV generation system, and the LED low energy lighting system.

Capital Cost: £28,000

Energy Savings: £7,800

Carbon Savings: 5 tonnes p.a.

Project Payback: 3 years

We engaged Solarsense to provide the combined PV generation and low energy lighting solution for this project. We were impressed at their grasp of the problem, and their ability to design the solution. The installation was completed on time and on budget. I will undoubtedly use Solarsense on similar projects in the future.
