Infinity Energy Services provides a full range of electrical and energy efficiency services to commercial and public sector clients, including LED lighting, solar PV, battery storage, energy audits, online monitoring, and compliance testing.
We offer very high installation standards and excellent customer service. We look forward to working with you on your energy project.
Existing technology: Our client, inMusic Europe, had inefficient 400W metal-halide high bay lighting in their warehouse and consequently very high electricity bills.
Their goal was both to reduce their energy spend and also make the warehouse a safer, more functional working environment.
For example, they had high racking and their forklifts would sometimes bump into the low-hanging lights.
They also wanted to increase the lux levels in the aisles so staff could operate more safely, and also have lights turn off automatically when no-one was around.
Solution: Our solution was to use linear LED 100W high bay luminaires fixed to the ceiling in order to keep them up high, away from the reach of the forklifts.
Each fitting also included an integrated microware sensor which could sense when the area beneath the fitting was unoccupied, and would then dim down, and finally go off completely after a set duration.
The lights in less used isles are now switched off for most of the day – saving inMusic a considerable amount of money each month – but automatically come on when a staff member walks up the aisle.
Capital cost: £14,166
Annual energy savings: £5,830
Annual carbon savings: 22.3 tCO2e
Payback: 27 months
We selected Infinity Energy Services to carry out an energy audit on our lighting. We were very impressed with the approach and positive attitude of their MD, Daniel Hanslip. Their proposal was competitive and the installation itself went ahead very smoothly. Our savings have been even greater than predicted. We highly recommend Infinity Energy Services and would use them again without hesitation.
