Dextra Group PLC based in Dorset and founded in 1978 are manufacturers of highly efficient lighting. We have a state of the art dedicated PCB production line placing 750,000 LED chips per day. 5000 luminaires are produced daily at our 23,000 Square metres site with 550 employees. With over 40 years of experience,there are very few lighting scenarios that have not been dealt with.

Case Study - Iceland Frozen Food Store
Existing technology:
51,206 x1200 x 600 3 x 36w T8 Fluorescent High frequency luminaires that fit into a suspended ceiling.
The circuit wattage was 170w. All the lighting was at the front of house in all UK stores nationwide. There were 725 stores in total across the UK.
New Technology:
The replacement lighting was a 1200 x 600 LED product with a circuit wattage of 53w.
The luminaires were delivered on our own transport and the old fittings were removed from site and recycled by Dexreco.
The clients brief was to upgrade the fluorescent lighting with a more efficient solution and improve the lighting levels. The lighting levels were significantly increased and the energy savings were 52%.
Dextra estimate that savings have been £1,401,486.51
