Amsterdam, Tuesday 9 April 2019: International climate change and sustainability advisory firm, the Carbon Trust, has today announced the latest developments in its continued global expansion with the opening of a new office in Amsterdam.

This latest addition to the Carbon Trust’s international operations will help the company to service its growing business in mainland Europe, with a focus on providing advice and assurance to large corporates. This builds on the Carbon Trust’s portfolio of offices in the UK, China, Mexico and South Africa.

Hugh Jones, Managing Director of Business Services at the Carbon Trust, said:

“From a global perspective, Europe is already home to some of the most advanced companies in terms of sustainability. Many others are rapidly going through the transition to a low carbon economy and finding that it can bring them long term competitive value.

“We’re excited to be opening up a new office in Amsterdam, which is already a hub for sustainable business with great transport links across the continent. We hope this will enable us to work with an even greater number of companies across mainland Europe, delivering on our mission of accelerating the move to a sustainable, low carbon economy.”

The opening of the new office was made possible with guidance from the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency and amsterdam inbusiness.
