Call for entries from companies and consortia interested to undertake a study for the OWA Foundations Technical Working Group (TWG-F) to investigate the potential risks related to the increasing size of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) monopile foundations to understand the applicability of current technologies and design methodologies for larger scale monopiles.
The main objectives of this work are to understand if knowledge, design methodologies and process from smaller scale structures can be transferred, or scaled, for larger structures or whether new phenomena need to be taken into consideration.
The deadline for clarification questions has now passed. We did not receive any questions.
The tender submission deadline for this project has been extended to 15:00pm (BST) on Tuesday 4 July 2023.
