Calling for entries from companies and consortia interested to undertake a study to investigate condition based monitoring and predictive maintenance methods for HVDC and HVAC substation equipment.
This project seeks for further understanding of existing and innovative condition-based monitoring methods for existing substation equipment both onshore and offshore; and to identify required adaptations and other key considerations. The outcome of these work packages will advise the TWG-E on the differences between traditional, period maintenance approaches and newer condition-based monitoring methods.
