Call for entries from companies and consortia interested to undertake a study for the OWA Foundations Technical Working Group (TWG-F) to investigate corrosion protection systems, including both coating and cathodic protection systems, for offshore wind structures.
The main objectives of this work are to research, analyse and present different corrosion management concepts which are suitable for offshore wind structures with design life in excess of 50 years. The objective is to identify a means to extend the durability of existing corrosion concepts by proof testing to reduce the conservatism used in, and provide a better basis for, design.
The deadline for clarification questions has passed. Responses to the clarification questions received are provided below.
