Many effective energy efficiency and renewable projects can fail to reach implementation due to a lack of understanding of the long term financial benefit.  By ensuring that the business case is presented in such a way that the benefits are shown clearly and the associated risks are tackled, the likelihood of the project going forward will be increased.

This webinar will take you through the following key areas:

  • The relative benefit of common energy efficiency and renewable technology projects, based on Carbon Trust experience through the Green Business Fund;
  • Techniques to present the business case in the best light;
  • How best to progress a project through your organisation and tips on dealing with stakeholders; and
  • Principles of financial modelling such as Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return.

This webinar will be presented by an experienced Carbon Trust consultant who will outline Carbon Trust experience in developing business cases.  The webinar will also cover information on other services offered by the Green Business Fund.
