Laura currently directs the Carbon Trust’s growth initiatives across two key regions: Mainland Europe, collaborating closely with the Amsterdam and Berlin teams, and Southeast Asia, working alongside our Singapore office. Additionally, she leads the resourcing recruitment and skills development strategy for the consulting practice working closely with the Human Resources team.

Laura started her career in the B2B marketing sector, joining Carbon Trust to support corporates on their decarbonisation journey.   She has worked across a number of programmes including leading the successful delivery of the Carbon Trust's Green Business Fund, a prestigious £12 million programme dedicated to advancing energy efficiency among small and medium-sized enterprises throughout Great Britain.

Her consulting experience includes significant roles with trade teams at UK Trade & Investment (now part of the Department of Business & Trade), both domestically and internationally, where she served as a senior business specialist advising on strategic low carbon opportunities for the High Value Opportunities programme. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in supporting South Africa's National Business Initiative through the delivery of their Private Sector Energy Efficiency programme, an £8.6 million UK-funded initiative.
