Dr. Ma Jun is the Founder and President of the Institute of Finance and Sustainability, Chairman of China Green Finance Committee and former Director of Center for Finance and Development at Tsinghua University. He also chaired the G20 Green Finance Study Group, Supervision Workstream of the NGFS, and Hong Kong Green Finance Association.

Between 2014 and 2017, he served as the Chief Economist at the PBOC’s Research Bureau and led the national green finance policy framework. Before that, he worked for 13 years at Deutsche Bank, where he was Managing Director/Chief Economist for Greater China. During 1992-2000, he worked as a senior economist and public policy specialist at the World Bank, and an economist with the IMF.
