Based in Beijing, Yaxian is a Manager in the Carbon Trust's China team. She has an extensive network of industry partners in the offshore wind sector and footprinting, and has more than five years of experience in project management, coordination and scientific research. This includes product and organisational carbon footprinting projects in China, offshore wind policy research and organisational carbon management strategy. She also helps to bring Carbon Trust’s science-based target service to the China market.

Prior to joining the Carbon Trust, Yaxian was the representative of Erasmus University in China. She has a MSc degree in Urban, Port and Transport Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
