Jess works within the Carbon Trust’s Cities and Regions team as an Energy Consultant based in Edinburgh. She currently works on the Welsh Government Energy Service supporting programmes for the public sector.

Her experience includes Net Zero route mapping, decarbonisation feasibility studies, and developing business cases, particularly around low carbon heat. Jess has supported local authorities and the Scottish Government in developing Local Heat & Energy Efficiency Strategies (LHEES) and Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Programme (LCITP) business cases. She also provides technical expertise on low carbon heating technologies, such as heat pumps, biomass, CHP and heat networks.

Jess holds a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, and is a Chartered Engineer through the IMechE.
