Gracia is based in the Carbon Trust’s Southern Africa office in Pretoria, delivering strategic advice and analysis for public and private sector clients. She has over seven years' experience in the South African waste and biogas industry.
Before joining the Carbon Trust, Gracia was senior manager at The Innovation Hub responsible for overseeing the operations of the Climate Innovation Centre South Africa (CICSA), mandated with the commercialisation of clean tech innovations in the energy, water and waste sectors, in collaboration with the World Bank's InfoDev programme. Prior to this Gracia worked on the New Horizons Waste to Energy Project - Africa’s first large scale municipal solid waste to biogas plant - for the local office of Anaergia, a global biogas engineering and equipment manufacturer, and the GreenCape Sector Development Agency.
Gracia is a graduate of the University of Cape Town with a BSc and MSc in Chemical Engineering.
