Andrés is part of the LATAM team based in Mexico City. He works on topics related to energy systems, innovation and sustainability across Latin America.
Andrés has 9 years of experience working on a range of sustainability topics including environmental, financial, economic and policy aspects, mostly related to the energy sector. He has a technical academic background in chemical engineering and economics, which he complemented working within policy in international organisations such as IRENA and the European Commission.
Andrés holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from New York University and a MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from University College London. Andrés is also an alumnus from the Florence School of Regulation, having completed the Regulation of the Power Sector, and the Frankfurt School of Management, having completed Sustainable Finance Certified Expert course.
