Jonathan Winston is the Occupier Support Manager for Low Carbon Workplace, a low carbon property development partnership between the Carbon Trust, asset manager Columbia Threadneedle, and the developer Stanhope. He is responsible for ensuring that the portfolio delivers on challenging in-use energy performance targets, which includes managing the sustainability aspects arising in the construction stage, through to operational monitoring and providing ongoing support to all tenants. In addition to this, he provides specialist support for built environment projects and bids, and is responsible for the Carbon Trust’s own ISO 14001 certification.

Jonathan is a civil and architectural engineer, specialising in building performance, building technology, monitoring and verification, and low carbon consultancy across the commercial and public sectors. Previously he has worked on developing large-scale,whole estate energy performance contracts in pubic healthcare and higher education at Schneider Electric, managing both technical proposal and guarantee phases.
