David has extensive experience in delivering targeted advice to organisations across private and public sectors on how they can act to improve energy management and reduce energy consumption. As a Chartered Engineer, David provides a wide range of technical services to Carbon Trust clients across the globe including the provision of energy audits, technical due diligence of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, and best value procurement of energy saving solutions.

David is a qualified ESOS lead assessor, to date guiding over 40 large businesses from a wide range of sectors to compliance with the UK's ESOS Regulations. He has also provided lead technical support for the development of energy efficiency and auditing programmes for industrial businesses in Turkey and Peru.

David holds a first class master’s degree from Cranfield University in the UK, and is a full member of both the Energy Institute and the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
