Mi-Generation brings a unique approach to the heating market; installing and servicing biomass boilers that run off wood pellets made from locally sourced clean wood waste, supplied through a heat agreement.
Lakeview Country Club, a 100 acre resort in North Cornwall, comprising a large clubhouse with Spa, restaurant, fitness suite and heated swimming pool and currently 69 lodges. Having inherited a resort with spiralling utility costs the decision was very easy to make the transfer to biomass.
Capital Cost: £380,000
Energy Saving: £266,00
Carbon Saving (tCO2e): 333 tonnes
Other savings: £2.1m RHI
Project payback: 4 years
The installation at Lakeview was swift and the staff, both on site and at the main office were excellent, giving us constant updates. The boiler handover was thorough and full training given to our team. We look forward to working closely with Mi Generation in future as we continue to expand.
