New Year’s Honour for Carbon Trust Chief Executive

The Carbon Trust’s Chief Executive, Tom Delay, has been awarded a CBE by the Queen for services to sustainability in business.

Since joining as the founding Chief Executive in 2001, he has led the Carbon Trust for over 16 years and also chairs the advisory board of the MSc in Climate Change, Management & Finance at Imperial College London.

Commenting on the award, Tom Delay said:

This was totally unexpected. I’ve been honoured personally but feel tremendously proud that the work and achievements of the Carbon Trust have been recognised in this way. Our work is not yet done, and may never be, but I believe that our collective ingenuity and willingness to push boundaries is helping build momentum towards a sustainable future for business.
