Calling for entries from companies and consortia interested in undertaking a study for the OWA Electrical Systems Technical Working Group (TWG-E) that will investigate modelling methods for offshore resonance issues in offshore wind farms.
The main objectives of this work are to provide the OWA parties with more detail in the modelling of resonance issues for offshore wind farms, to advise on the best methods to understand and mitigate existing problems for HVDC connected offshore wind farms.
The expected benefits of this work are to provide the industry with a greater understanding of the causes of these issues, how to model, and how to mitigate these problems.
The deadline for clarification questions is 14 July 12:00 BST.
The closing date to receive tender submissions is 29 July 12:00 BST.
