A framework, process and set of tools designed to help cities in Malaysia manage the effects of climate change.
The Carbon Trust’s Low Carbon Cities Malaysia Programme is a framework, process and set of tools designed to help cities in Malaysia manage the effects of climate change, as well as to become more sustainable and more efficient. This framework is built around the Carbon Trust’s five step process which has been tailored to the needs of Local Government in Malaysia.
This programme builds on more than a decade of Carbon Trust experience running major energy efficiency and carbon reduction programmes for businesses and public sector organisations around the world. It also builds on and integrates with some of the work Green Tech Malaysia have done on the sustainable living agenda through its Low Carbon Cities Framework (LCCF).
The purpose of the Programme is to provide technical assistance to facilitate Malaysian City Government bodies in strategically implementing energy efficiency measures across their estate and credibly leading city-wide carbon reduction.
