Cambridge Regional College is the largest FE College in the UK and initiated an energy lighting retrofit of the entire college estate, with a view to reducing energy costs and carbon emissions, but also with the purpose of improving the working conditions for staff, students and visitors.

Capital Cost:  £450,000

Energy Saving:   £160,000

Project Payback: - 2.5 years

Carbon Saving (tCO2e):  189 T

We worked closely with ESL to ensure that the right solution was provided for each specific area. The outcome is a well-lit campus (internally & externally) as well as a reduced carbon footprint and year-on-year savings on running costs, resulting in a short payback period.
