Carbon Trust offers tailored expertise, knowledge and finance to help your organisation reduce energy costs and increase profits by implementing low carbon solutions.
How we can help
We know where energy savings can be made and how to get energy efficiency strategies up and running in your business.
Typically, 20% of a business' annual energy costs are wasted through the use of energy inefficient equipment. Our expert knowledge and tailored services are designed to make energy efficiency easy for organisations and businesses, for both the suppliers of the equipment and its ultimate users.
So far we've helped over 35,000 customers introduce £1.6bn worth of energy efficient equipment into their businesses, resulting in a £5.5bn reduction in energy costs.
Whether you need finance for new equipment, to find high quality equipment suppliers or understand how to improve your energy efficiency, we can provide flexible, impartial and practical help:
- Carbon Trust Green Business Fund - for small and medium sized businesses in England, Scotland and Wales, offering an opportunity assessment, equipment procurement support, and a financial contribution towards energy saving equipment
If you are a public sector organisation looking for technical advice or project feasibility support, please see our public sector advice service.
We have already seen a 40% reduction in our electricity bill. We are using electricity in a more efficient manner, resulting in less maintenance and less wattage as we install better-quality lighting and refrigeration. We hope to lead the way for similar enterprises.
