The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has launched the Industrial Energy Efficiency Accelerator (IEEA), a programme designed to help lower the cost and reduce the risk of near-market innovations for a range of industrial sectors, through demonstration projects.
The £9.2m programme is looking to co-fund partnerships between developers of solutions that will optimise the use of energy used in industrial processes, and the companies that will ultimately benefit.
The competition will be open until summer 2018. Applications will be reviewed periodically with the following application deadlines: 28 February 2018, 30 April 2018, 30 June 2018, 31 August 2018 (or until funding is exhausted).
