Our Chinese Partners
We are delighted to be working with companies in the provinces of Zhejiang, Guangdong and Chongqing. We are also proud to be working with Professor Yang Dongning of PKU & Atkins in this exciting energy efficiency initiative.
This project has the support of China’s National Development Reform Commission.
Scope
We are running a 2-year project to show how our successful UK approach can help Chinese businesses save energy and money through:
- Practical advice
- Training of energy managers
- Energy management surveys
Outputs
The principal outputs of this project will include:
- Energy advice publications
Mandarin translations of our publications will be freely available for download from our Chinese website
- Energy management survey reports
Each business in the project will receive a report outlining ways for them to cut energy costs and reduce carbon emissions
- Training
We are offering training to Energy Managers on how to cut energy costs and reduce carbon emissions
- Case studies
We will develop and promote case studies of good practice within Chinese companies which will be available online
- Energy survey methodology
A standard energy survey methodology will be developed for China, informed by both this project and our UK activities.
