At Carbon Trust Wales, we strive to nurture low carbon innovators while giving the best energy saving advice to public and business organisations.

As well as offering the full range of Carbon Trust services, Carbon Trust Wales also offers a number of additional services specifically for Welsh companies and organisations, supported by the Welsh Government. 

 

What we can offer your business

We support businesses across Wales, from large corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as they tackle their carbon footprint.

We work with businesses to develop and help implement energy saving strategies.  We also provide support through:

  • Web tools
  • Our advice line

Our advice is tailored to meet your business needs. We conduct on-site energy surveys that identify quick and effective ways to reduce energy, typically yielding a 20% cut in energy costs.

We also run events, workshops and webinars throughout the country to raise energy-efficiency awareness and provide information and training around low carbon technologies. 

The expert, impartial help and advice received from Carbon Trust Wales has been instrumental in helping us identify areas for cost and carbon saving and develop a formal energy management policy. In the last six months alone, we have been able to reduce our energy consumption to save a significant amount of carbon and several £000's in costs.

How we support the public sector

We provide carbon reduction services specifically designed to meet the needs of the public sector.

We work with organisations, providing advice, implementation support and funding to deliver real carbon savings. We identify and share best practice through technical training events and networking for, and, where opportunities for collaboration arise, we bring together organisations to maximise funding and resources.

We endeavour to embed carbon management within corporate policy by understanding and working with public sector organisations in Wales.
