As well as offering the full range of Carbon Trust services,
Carbon Trust Scotland also offers a number of additional services
specifically for Scottish companies and organisations that are
supported by the Scottish Government.
How we can help your business
We support businesses across Scotland, from large companies to
small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as they tackle their
carbon footprint. For all companies, we provide support through our
advice line, online technical content and web tools. For
companies who spend more than £30k per annum on energy bills, our
consultants can deliver practical on-site advice, identifying and
putting into practice carbon-reduction projects. This includes
providing support and advice during the design of low-carbon
buildings. If you would like our help, give us a call on 0800 085
2005.
We also run a series of business breakfasts and
workshops throughout the country to raise energy efficiency
awareness and provide information and training around low-carbon
technologies.
How we support the public sector
We've worked successfully with many of Scotland's local
authorities, the NHS, universities and colleges, and government.
This experience has enabled us to create a collection of approaches
that help organisations to identify, prioritise, plan and implement
energy saving projects.
We provide carbon reduction services specifically designed to
meet the needs of the public sector. We work with organisations,
providing advice, implementation support and funding to deliver
real carbon savings. We identify and share best practice through
technical training events and networking forums. And where
opportunities for collaboration arise, we bring together
organisations to maximise funding and resources. We endeavour to
embed carbon management within corporate policy by understanding
and working with public sector organisations in Scotland.
The support received from the Carbon
Trust has been second to none. The awareness raising activity has
been a huge success with staff, helping us save almost £80,000 per
year on energy bills.
