Climate change is a huge and unprecedented global
challenge, and requires international cooperation between countries
to make the move to a global low carbon economy. Many of the
businesses that we work with in the UK are international companies
& organisations looking to benefit from the move to a low
carbon economy globally.
The Carbon Trust started working in China, the world's
biggest carbon emitter, in August 2008, sharing experience on
reducing carbon emissions and work to develop new low carbon
technologies.
Our work here focuses on:
- helping the Chinese reduce carbon emissions that affect us
all
- enabling UK low carbon technology companies to develop markets
in China
