Our specialists provide guidance, support and tools, to reduce carbon emissions, develop low carbon businesses and accelerate low carbon technologies.
 
 

Specifically in the United States, we offer:

  • help to the commercial sector using Carbon Trust experience from the last 10 years in advising businesses on how to identify, manage and reduce their carbon emissions and determine their energy efficiency opportunities

  • high level “heat-mapping/hot spotting” for high energy and carbon areas, and commercial loan support for collaboration on energy efficiency, utilizing our knowledge, expertise and data

  • State government support by demonstrating the Carbon Trust’s programmatic approach to cutting carbon and energy use - the focus of our efforts has been on assisting States to consider implementing energy efficiency programmes to engage their commercial sector

  • low carbon energy technology, such as offshore wind. The Carbon Trust’s expertise gained through its Offshore Wind Accelerator program in the UK wind sector is helping accelerate the US’s ability to deploy offshore wind at scale
